Whether it’s a birthday, wedding or one of the biggest events scheduled on the fashion week calendar, there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to looking and feeling your best as you walk out that door. 

Here at The Parlour Room, we’re huge believers that beauty shines from within, feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin. So in the lead up to fashion week this year, we wanted to find out exactly what the non-negotiables the fashion front-rowers swear by in order to look and feel their best when it comes to all things beauty, skincare and wellness.

If you follow fashion then our next guest needs no introduction. Gab Waller. The personal shopper whose job it is to source and secure the must-have pieces of the season, past and present from all around the world.

And when your job requires you to be working across multiple time zones with various deadlines while simultaneously watching the runway, keeping an eye on all the upcoming designers and trending pieces of the season, it’s fair to say Gab knows a thing or two when it comes to ensuring she’s both looking and feeling her best.

BEAUTY

Gab: I'm all about a natural look for my everyday makeup routine. My mornings can be quite hectic spent catching up with my international team, so I like to keep it very simple and easy.

I'm currently using this beautiful Hermes neutral-toned lipstick - that I am absolutely loving! I can never go a day without wearing my Brazilian Bum Bum Cream body moisturiser - the scent is heavenly!

SKINCARE

Gab: Just like my fashion wardrobe, I'm a big believer in investing in skincare! I never miss my morning or nighttime skincare routine - no matter how late it might be. I'm currently loving my skincare products from Giorgio Armani, Rationale, and Augustinus Bader, and love a beautiful laser treatment to assist with any inflammation that I might have.

WELLNESS

Gab: With my often quite hectic schedule, I always make sure to carve some time out in the day for myself, even if it's only for 10 minutes. I treat myself to weekly massages, infrared saunas, and love relaxing baths to help my body release any tension and relax.

I always try to make sure I get to bed at a reasonable time to ensure I get plenty of beauty sleep, drink lots of water, eat healthy plant-based foods and I love indulging in a body exfoliation (my treatment at SELF by Parlour Room is one of my favourites for extra smooth skin!).
