Introducing Self by The Parlour Room | Our New Concept Salon
It’s been 12 months in the making with lots of phone calls, texts, emails and sleepness nights in between, but we’re so excited to share with you, our brand new, concept salon Self by The Parlour Room.
The second love child of founder Natalie Papadopoulos, Self is located only a few doors down from our original salon in Clovelly, TPR, making it that much easier for us to spoil ourselves silly!
Where TPR is focused on bringing women together to celebrate beauty, Self is all about looking after yourself and taking the time for you with treatments tailored to match.
Designed in collaboration with our beautiful designer Dani, behind @TheMakeHaus_ (who we also worked with on the amazing refurb of TPR), and Natalie’s incredibly talented fiance Andrea Ferrari @FAF.Woodwork, you can watch exclusive BTS footage of what went into the making, right here.
With an overarching theme of ‘neutral, natural and beautiful’, Self draws a lot of inspiration from Natalie’s recent travels to Europe. Focusing on calming colour palettes and mixing shapes and curves to bring depth and texture to the space, the entire design is dedicated to delivering on an exceptional experience.
‘I wanted lots of natural light and our clients to instantly feel relaxed and calm as soon as they walked in.’
Working with Andrea, Natalie and Dani were able to bring a lot of their vision to life, custom building a lot of the designs featured within the salon.
‘Marble was always non-negotiable.
The natural colours and beautiful line formations are nature's miracle, it’s beauty in its most natural state and that is the foundation of Self. Celebrating our natural beauty.’
From the scalloped curved edges, and architecturally designed finishes, right down to the choice of stone and its placement. Each and every detail has been carefully considered to ensure the most luxurious experience.
Offering a range of bespoke facials, invigorating body treatments, massages and an infrared sauna, Self is an experience not to be missed.
