Achieve Bridal-Brow-perfection at The Parlour Room
Need To Know
Always keep the shape as close to the natural arch as possible.
If you want to change the shape or explore a new brow treatment, do this well in advance so you have time to trial and restore if necessary.
If you’re getting a brow wax, you need to be off roaccutane and make sure you stop using any Retinol or VitA products at least 3 days before your appointment, otherwise the wax can burn and lift the skin.
Avoid any tweezing between your brow appointments.
If you’re planning on having any botox or injectables, you need to leave 2 weeks between your appointments as the treatments can interfere with each other and potentially cause some adverse reactions.
Similarly, 24hrs downtime between any peels or facials is recommended although this will depend on the specific treatment so ask your therapist first.
If you’re having a spray tan, book your brows 1 week before your appointment to ensure they won’t affect each other. A tan over a freshly tinted brow can sometimes turn the skin orange - eek!
FAQs
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY FINAL BROW APPOINTMENT?
Anywhere 3-7 days before the wedding is ideal however, if you’re having a spray tan, book your brows 1 week before this, so there’s no chance of the tan lifting from the wax or turning your skin orange.
HOW CAN I GROW MY BROWS OUT?
Make sure you’re booking in for regular brow appointments so you can work with the therapist to train them the way you want. It’s also important to use the right products to nourish and look after them such as the Daily Brow Mask, which can not only help stimulate growth but is also a really beautiful conditioning treatment that you can apply in the evening or style with in the morning. It’s like skincare for your brows!
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I BOOK MY APPOINTMENTS?
We recommend clients book an appointment every 4-6 weeks for ultimate brow-perfection.
HOW CAN I MAKE MY BROWS LOOK FULLER?
One of the best ways to do this is by tinting your brows. We recommend doing this regularly every 2 weeks, as it helps fill in any gaps and make your brows look fuller. A brow pencil is also a great tool, as this allows you to fill them in as you go, just make sure to finish and set them in place with a Beachy Brow or similar product so they continue to look fuller for longer.
