Is a facial necessary for a bride?

Truly transforming your skin can take time and depend on your skin’s needs, whether it’s dry or dehydrated, congested or dull and lacklustre, booking in for a series of treatments, and using high-quality professional ingredients, can help speed up the process.
Most salons will offer an initial consultation (much like our bridal consultation which is redeemable across our bridal skincare packages) where you can sit down with a therapist who can assess your skin and help map out a plan to best suit your needs. This is also a great opportunity to ask any burning questions you may have about all things skin.
How many days before the wedding should you book your facial?
Ideally, this would have been pre-booked with your therapist in advance however we always recommend saving that final facial for the week leading up to your wedding, anywhere from 3-5 days prior. Exactly when you should book your final bridal facial, will depend on the type of treatment and/or any other appointments you’ve got booked in. Your therapist should help guide you on this so as to make sure your skin is seeing the best results possible on your wedding day.
OUR TIP: If you’ve never had a facial before, do not book your first one the week before your wedding. Ideally, try and book a couple in advance. This way you can try the treatment and see how your skin reacts and will allow enough time to try different treatments or a combination of different treatments as well.
